To reduce the number of people in an enclosed space and to accommodate those who are more cautious, St Luke has begun offering two worship times on Sunday morning: 8:30 and 10:00. During the 8:30 service, the mask mandate will be strictly enforced (those with legitimate medical exemptions from wearing a mask will be welcomed). During the 10:00 service, following the mandate will still be strongly encouraged, but not enforced.
To those of you who have been watching these video sermons on a regular basis, I pray they've been a blessing to you during these uncertain times.
I'd like briefly explain what's been going on lately with these sermons. On Saturday evenings after I record my sermon, I upload the video to my computer, process it, and upload it to YouTube and then to our website. The whole process takes about 20 minutes to complete.
About two weeks ago, my laptop began having major issues, causing it to crash. Last week, after 3-4 hours of trying, I was able to successfully upload my sermon. Since then, however, my computer has been crashing much more frequently, and I am doubtful I will be able to upload more of them in the future. I am planning on have it repaired, but I regret that for now I am unable to post new videos until my computer (and the software I use to process the videos) has been repaired. I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
In Christ's service and yours,
